We are hoping the word has gotten out to Psych APRN's in the area to join us for an evening of discussion related to the future of our profession (both Nationally and in CT) and networking. Hope to see you there!
I will be writing about topics that strike my interest and I hope that you will offer your comments too. I am an epidemiologist and a mental health nurse practitioner, so topics will often relate to those areas of my work.
This blog is intended to be a forum for discussion related to health and mental health. It contains my views on current news and issues that relate to public health and epidemiology, mental health, mental health treatment, and mental health nursing. I often offer comments on something I have recently read or considered, and will provide reference information so you may find the original article I am referring to.
These are my own thoughts and ideas and are not meant to represent Yale University or the Yale School of Nursing.
The information contained here should not be considered mental health treatment advice.
Please do not post information here that could identify an individual or patient related information! Also do not identify a specific clinical setting or providers as this may lead to inadvertant identification of individuals. I will edit comments to protect individual privacy and confidentiality. I will also edit any comments that may threaten, intimidate or demean others.
Thanks for taking the time to read and add your comments to my blog!
